Calmly, today I encountered an incident involving MondayBluer's whining, in which if I have not ignored it would have given her a tight mental slap, at seeing National Geographic program on wild life. Somehow, MB whined that she cannot continue eating after witnessing some maggots digesting rotting flesh or something gory. I practically ignored her point because very firstly, it is just herself that is psycho-ing herself. Secondly, no matter how gore the flick was, that's life and reality. Surprisingly, even when I remained silent without consoling her, she finished her bowl of noodle. I just love MB for so being so adorable at times.
That brings me back to the point of this. I cannot reason why these shop owners would select such programs. Why can't switch to CNN, CNBC, BBC or even CCTV for goodness sake? It just brings me to a complete 'duh' minute to ponder. Not only one shop but also the 'mamak' shop behind too does the same thing. The mamak stall has a large 52 inches projection TV making it far better, huh? Maybe I presume it's for the helpers' entertainment, hired from poorer countries or maybe not. Perhaps, the savagery of the animals or the fascination of maggots devouring flesh can boost sales and customer visits while we humans eat our meals. What were they thinking???? No matter how absurd I found it, there were still a lot of people coming, Malaysians are truly fascinating.
