It is stylo like milo when it rings with a nice polyphonic tone, a glance, a flip, a pretend to be very cool and say "harrrloww... ahh ahh what? Say loudah la!!! What la u.. oi kan nia sai" Ok I got carried away imagining a tan 'cina' bloke with spunky blonde dye hair talking on a Samsung phone while squatting at a club's entrance in Selayang!!
Anyway, I wanted a flip phone but they come in different range of prices fr. RM888 to the most super RM2888 (SE P910). I have a rule of not purchasing any mobile phone above RM1,000.00 becoz I don't believe in paying so much. My very first preference was the new Panasonic X700(RM1560) a cool flipper pre-loaded with Symbian OSv.7. This model was totally delayed for like 1Q & price dropped within 2 weeks after release. Sluggish and bad review. Most of all, it's becoz of Panasonic's very 1st Symbian OS phone. Nokia 6260 scrapped becoz an old school friend of mine has it and I decided not to pursue because;
1) It's Nokia
2) Bad OS
3) Quite a big flip-o-phone
My previous considered almost flip-o-phone was the Nokia 8110 (The Matrix I Banana phono). Bought it 2nd hand and it was really cool until that stupid slider's copper contact failed. The most expensive phone I ever bought was the Nokia 7250 and it wasn't for me. It was a gift to mondaybluer.
In conclusion, I would spend only less than RM500 for a 2nd hand flip-o-phone because I may only use it for parties and clubs to do what the tan cina bloke did in my 1st paragraph. No point to pay too much for a new mobile phone or just a mobile phone.
